Maybelline ''Designer Chocolates'' Expert Wear Quad

Hey everybodyyy.

IT'S FALL! And this means... NEW MAKEUP TRENDS!

Fall is one my favorite seasons because you can play so much with your makeup. You can go bold with your eyes and lips... sometimes both! It's all about switching to darker colors. The trendiest dark color for fall is plum.

And speaking of plum...

I have an eyeshadow quad I recently purchased that want I to review for you all :)

It's the Maybelline ''Designer Chocolates'' Expert Wear Quad. Price was $6.99 at Rite Aid.
This quad has been around for quite a while. I've seen reviews about it on Youtube and I was really interested in getting it because the colors seemed perfect for autumn. Let's take a closer look :)

Overview:

Closer look at the colors:

The colors in this quad are numbered from 1 - 4.

1. ''Base'' - White pearly color with subtle shimmer.
2. ''Lid'' - Light brown/beige color with subtle summer.
3. ''Crease'' - Plum/Coppery color with shimmer.
My favorite and the reason why I bought the quad!
4. ''Liner'' - Medium/Dark brown color with subtle shimmer

Overall, I wasn't super impressed with the pigmentation of these shadows compared to other Maybelline's eyeshadows I own. I mean, they are pigmented, but not as vibrant. Texture wise they are good. Didn't experience much fallout.

However, I do love the colors... especially the plum! This quad is perfect everyday neutral looks. You can also incorporate the plum for a pop of color that's fall-appropriate. It's an easy way to change up your everyday look.

These are puuurrrfect ( see what I did there? ;) ) for fall. I will definitely be wearing these a lot, but with a primer underneath to intensify the colors.

Do I recommend? Yes, but keep in mind you might want to use a primer.

Thank you all for visiting and keep an eye on this blog because I'll be posting a lot more! Including  videos on Youtube ;)

Byeeee!
